The Nature Pain Project
Dealing With Pain Naturally
ABOUT US

The Nature Pain Project is a Community Interest Company based in Cornwall. Our purpose is to provide benefit to the communities we serve and not for private profit.
Everyone in our community is passionate about supporting those with chronic pain, as we all have a "lived experience" of it. We understand how debilitating, isolating and frustrating this can be.
Our mission is to empower our community by fostering knowledge and skills to alleviate chronic suffering in our tribe.

Our vision is to use funding to provide a pathway to these therapeutic tools through social prescribing and green prescriptions. Allowing practices to refer more patients whilst helping to to substantially reduce their time and budgets.

We aim to:

Deepen ones connection to the Natural world through evidence based research relating to the
5 Pathways to Nature Connectedness.

Educate our community in New Pain Science with evidence based tools.

Establish a community of chronic pain sufferers that can share their experience.

Give all our community members the chance to be deeply heard and seen.
Empower our audience with tools and knowledge they can use to live a better life.

We can offer a intuitive way to understand your pain through a series of Nasya's Breath Natural Wellness Workshops, using trained facilitators teaching the 10 Footsteps to Living Well with Pain in a natural setting.

Nasya's Breath weaves together eco-psychology, New Pain Science research and works from the bio-psycho-social model in a group setting. We aim to help our clients tap into their parasympathetic nervous (aka 'sooth') system, using practices such as mindfulness, forest bathing and a time to be deeply heard and seen. Each session is grounded in the 5 Pathways to Nature Connectedness and explores different elements of pain science research that could improve your
relationship with pain.

We also offer Person Centred Therapy online to help understand the relationship that depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction and bereavement can have with your pain. Unlike CBT, Person Centred Therapy does not require you to fill out lots of pages or do homework, between sessions but help you to deal with the ‘here and now’ situation you find yourself in.

Our Pain Tribe is an online group for those who suffer or knows someone who suffers from physical ill-health. Our aim is to share our journey with pain, share what works to help it and share in the support of people like ourselves who know what it's like to live with chronic pain.
